The theme for our conference in May 2019 is ‘Light My Fire’.
That’s what we’re going to do over the weekend of 17-19 May – light a fire in our Rotarians! Ignite passion! Passion not only for doing good in our communities, but passion for continuing the work that Rotary has done and will continue to do to change the world for good - by promoting peace, eliminating disease and supporting the vulnerable and disenfranchised members of our communities.As our website goes live, you will see details of the registration process and the registration fees. We have done our best to keep the cost of attending our conference as low as possible. With rising costs and falling attendance, this has been a challenge, but we are absolutely positive that you will receive value for money here in Wanganui 17-19 May 2019.Our programme of presentations has been set and nearly all speakers are confirmed as at the end of November 2018. Keep checking this web site for updates and the presenter profiles which will start to appear. Entertainment has been booked and will be a highlight of the weekend. And let’s not forget perhaps the best takeaway from a District Conference – friendships. Meeting and talking with the people from around our District that share our ideals, values and vision can lead to collaboration and even better, more impactful projects being delivered by Rotary right here in our own country and even globally Put a team together and come along.
