Wildbase Recovery Project
Rotary-initiated Wildbase Recovery project aims to complete in 2017, this purpose built facility for NZ most endangered wildlife through a unique collaboration, utilising locally-based specialist veterinary expertise from Massey University and hosted by Palmerston North City Council. Actively supported by Rangitane Iwi & NZ Dept. of Conservation.
 
Wildbase Recovery Community Trust (which has Rotary oversight) is a Charitable Trust tasked with raising $5.69m to complete the Wildbase Recovery project.
 
Almost $5m has been raised to date, through NZ Lottery’s grants & local Trusts
