Rotary Youth Programme of Enrichment (RYPEN)
RYPEN is aimed at young people in the 15 –18 age group who are still at school and are not likely to be selected for Youth Exchange or later for RYLA, but who possess qualities of decency, persistence and application and who deserve further encouragement.

The young people will be presented with a series of ideas, challenges and social experiences, which will hopefully assist them in broadening their horizons socially, culturally and physically.

It is suggested that students who have participated in previous outdoor education activities do not attend e.g. Outward Bound, Spirit of New Zealand, or any college outdoor pursuit type course. For details of the programme contact the convener.

UPDATE - 7 February 2018 - For Rotarians
There are 5 documents which all clubs need to download, read, pass to the relevant person and ensure paperwork is completed by due dates. To assist this happening in a timely fashion, one of the documents is a checklist for clubs. We recommend clubs liaise with their local High School. Clubs are reminded that RYPEN functions best when the participants are am even mix of boys and girls. Any queries can be directed to the RYPEN Organising Committee at: rypen9940@gmail.com

The 2018 documents are now available in the document library. Go here, scroll down to RYPEN (login required)
