Whanganui Daybreak had an excellent meeting this morning (2/9). Although everyone was tired this morning after yesterday's Monster Kite Day was a MONSTER success, the mood was one of quiet satisfaction with a job well done. Lots of fantastic ideas were tossed around that will make next year's event even bigger and better.This morning's Whanganui Chronicle has pictorial and video coverage; check it out at the link below. But without doubt, the most successful aspect of the day was seeing so many families out and about in the spring sunshine, having fun outdoors.
Whanganui Daybreak promotes itself as a family-friendly Rotary Club, and you couldn't get much more family-friendly than yesterday's event!
