We are all aware that changes need to happen.

It is time to ask members:

What are the preferred methods to support opportunities for learning with either self-paced learning through online or attendance based learning and development sessions on Rotary information.

What will be provided for and delivered are the most useful topics to support individuals and clubs to be able to achieve their goals.

I am sure you know about the new online learning which is available on the RI website, and if not I recommend you log onto the website and using your “My Rotary” details tap into “Learning and Reference”.
There are numerous on-line options from Rotary topics, Rotary Roles and importantly The Learning Centre where you can take advantage of materials designed to help you learn new skills and become more successful in what you do.

In addition to this, opportunities for learning will be available at the District level.  However, very importantly we need feedback on what learning and development you need and how you prefer this to be accessed or delivered.
A survey has been developed and is available to all Rotarians. We anticipate that the information collected will lead to learning opportunities being developed to suit various areas, clusters and potential individual clubs through the support and coordination of our Assistant Governors.

Last month a successful workshop was held with Taranaki cluster of clubs who advised that they considered the most effective method of learning and development for themselves and their roles is achieved through face to face sessions, workshops and Club cluster meetings.

In the meantime the following learning and development has been confirmed:
