New Zealand Business Week is about building Brave Business Leaders. It's fun, it's challenging and it's for anyone that has ever been interested in business or had a business idea. During the intensive one week programme, students will be encouraged to be bold in their thinking, they will learn about new business models, meet other business people and combine academic learning with business decision making. By forming a virtual company, students will make decisions about marketing, personnel and production in order to develop and grow a successful business. The week has a strong emphasis on personal development - confidence, leadership, teamwork - and includes an extensive, supervised, social programme. Have fun, meet new people, develop new skills and learn about business from your own discovery and from people who are out there doing it. Planning for New Zealand Business Week is well underway for 2018 and we are looking forward to another very successful programme. Over the twenty five years, thousands of students have benefited from this intensive course because of NZ Rotary’s involvement as trustees and sponsors. |

ikes in Schools Provision of spare helmets, UV vests and on-going maintenance of tracks around the school and the bikes. This project works in conjunction with the City Council and the school who have raised $50,000 to build tracks, buy bikes and purchase a lockable storage container. Takaro Rotary contribution enables the children to have the essential helmets and vests. The school is a decile one school which means that there is little money in the immediate community. The local cycle club will work with Takaro Rotary club to provide training to the children. This is a high profile project in the community with Rotary advertising their involvement.
We are on a mission to give Rarotonga a mobile medical facility to replace 27 village medical centres that service many of the island's 13,000 people.

Why underwear ? It is very expensive to buy in Fiji and families can't afford it. Pre school teachers are wanting to encourage good hygiene and sanitation amongst the children.

There will be a very wide selection of books covering over 30 different categories. The event has been part of the Rotary Club of Plimmerton’s annual activities for quite a number of years. When the doors are opened at 9am Saturday 17 March there will be a queue waiting to get to the books first (almost a stampede!)
