With sadness I must advise that PDG Ross George's wife, Jean, passed  away on the 10th August at Mary Potter Hospice.  Judy Bain has said  "Jean was a wonderful woman and so supportive of Ross, their family and Rotary AND me as first woman Governor. She will be missed by many"

Go Wild about Club Membership and Development
The essence of Rotary is our Clubs that provide us with the opportunity to do good in the community. A key focus and area of planning is our own Club Development and Membership. What does that mean?

Our clubs maintain, sustain and gain their membership by understanding the profile of their club, its membership, siccession of roles in the club and a vision of where the club future is.

District Chair of Club Development and Membership Tony Heyward was joined in Marton by PDG Deb Gimblett and local club representatives.  The three hour workshop is a must attend for club members tasked with membership and club development roles.
Please invest your time in this workshop coming to your area and you will reap rewards and club benefit from your time at our upcoming Club Membership and Development workshops.
More information and dates for workshops can be found here in our District website and here in the Rotary Oceania website
